Tournament Structure for Overwatch League
The Overwatch League consists of a Regular Season and ensu🅠ing Playoffs.
The Regular Season consists of 20 competing teams: 10 teams from the Atlantic Conference and 10 teams from the Pacific Conference. Each team will play 28 matches throughout a season. All Regular Season matches are played on a first-to-three Map basis.
After the conclusion of the Regular Season, the top-ranked Atlantic Conference and Pacific Conference teams will automatically qualify for the Playoffs, along with the 3rd to 6th ranked teams, irrespective of thei🌃r division.
The 7th to 12th placed teams will take part in a single-elimination tournament to determine the last two Playoffs teams. A grand total of 8 teams will take part in the Playoffs. All Playoffs matches are played on a first-to-four Map basis.
